The demographics of the country are very much influenced by the civil war and later genocide, and 50% of the population is under 22 years old.
The largest city and capital is Phnom Penh, with a population of 1.4 million, or 2.2 million in the metropolitan area. The next largest city is Battambang, with a population not yet reaching 200,000.
Over 95% of the population practices Theravada Buddhism, the official religion, with an estimated 4,400 monastery temples in the country. There are approximately 300,000 Muslims in Cambodia, with about 1% identified as Christian.
During evangelism we sing songs to share and declare the love and joy of Jesus Christ to others.
Come and join us in spreading the Gospel and touching the hearts of people through music.
